Happy Halloween!

A very busy October for me. An exhibition at Evolution in Eindhoven, then a rough crossing on the  North Sea Ferry back home, a Halloween party to organise plus two more parties to attend and a bit of trick or treating on the way!

Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn

We have had quite a busy summer and haven't had a chance to update the blog. However we did managed to squeeze in a warm week away in Skiathos Greece and a slightly cooler week of camping in Sennen, Cornwall.  Such beautiful places!

Now back in the studio with the fire on sketching mermaids for a customer and thinking of the sparkling Aegean sea!

Happy Easter!

We are busy in the studio preparing for Printsource  9th-10th April in New York  next week.  Not much of an Easter weekend for us so will just have to nibble on our chocolate eggs whilst at the computer. Have a fab Easter everyone!

Bye Bye Mr Squirrel!

Mr Squirrel and friends are off to Korea today. This is a little part of a design we have been working on, which has been sold by our Korean agent Kate.

I Love Cupcakes!

We are always making cupcakes in our house, I now have a good excuse... that is having a 5 year old daughter who shares my cupcake passion too. We are always on the lookout for different sprinkles but for me the best is Hundreds and Thousands!

Lots of Licks!

Whilst at the school gates this morning one of the mums had a little shivering Jack Russel pup, she was trying to make him sit but he was having none of it! He was too engrossed in licking all the children. 

Cold paws!

The next door neighbour's cat walked past the studio window this morning. He didn't seem too impressed with the snow and was carefully trying to find the best  path back home which didn't involve putting his paws in any more snow.

A Fairy Winter Wonderland Party

Had a very busy weekend, I was asked to organise a winter wonderland fairy party for a friend's little girl. I had two rooms to decorate and a hallway to be turned into a snowy woodland tunnel. The kitchen was to be  the interior of a tree house. I  had just enough time to decorate the garden for the fairy hunt. All the children had a map to find special fairy items to make a wish for a wooden fairy house to decorate for their little fairies and pixies.

Still in animal mode and today I am drawing jungle animals, spot the sneaky crocodile!

Busy drawing all sorts of pets today and thought Dixie was the cutest!

Ohh Lovely bedding!

A sneak peak at some designs we sold last year to a Chinese bedding manufacturer. I think they look fab, my favourite has to be the Pirate Map which I wouldn't mind having myself...not sure if my other half would agree though?? Another favourite is the lighthouse designed by our super talented designer Rosie...so many choices!!
